Wall Street Proxy Aung San Suu Kyi's Ascension to Power

West prepares rhetorical grounds for unrest in Myanmar should Suu Kyi lose elections.
by Tony Cartalucci

April 1, 2012
- Without so much as a shred of evidence to explain why, citing no polls or rationale, the Western corporate-media has prematurely declared Wall Street-London proxy Aung San Suu Kyi the winner in a limited parliamentary election in Myanmar, still referred to by its colonial nomenclature of "Burma" by Western powers as well as Suu Kyi herself.

Photo: Soros-funded Mizzima proudly reports Myanmar "pro-democracy" leader Aung San Suu Kyi phoning-in to the 2011 "Liberal-Progressive" Clinton Global Initiative confab, fully-funded by big-oil, big-banks, and other elements of the corporate-fascist Wall Street-London combine.
....

Associated Press' article titled, "Myanmar's Suu Kyi poised to win parliamentary seat," is yet another example of election outcomes preemptively decided by the West in order to call any result contrary to Western desires a "fraud." This has been seen in the lead up to Thailand's July 2011 elections as well as recent elections in Russia that saw Vladimir Putin brought back into power as president. Even in cases such as in Russia where every poll indicated Putin was sure to win, most likely in the first round of elections and by a significant margin, the West still used this ploy to cast doubt on the veracity of electoral outcomes.

Image: From SSI's 2006 "String of Pearls" report detailing a strategy of containment for China. While "democracy," "freedom," and "human rights" will mask the ascension of Aung San Suu Kyi to power, it is part of a region-wide campaign to overthrow nationalist elements and install client regimes in order to encircle and contain China has been long underway.

....

Leading the charge is a network of poseur NGOs funded and directed by the US State Department through its National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and its subsidiaries, in particular Freedom House. It should be noted that despite the "progressive" and "humanitarian" veneer used by these organizations, their boards of directors are veritably filled with overt warmongers, certified Neo-Conservatives, corporate-financier directors, corporate-lobbyists, and both current and former members of the US State Department itself.

It is important to keep the true nature of this false "humanitarian-front" in mind when reading articles out of Freedom House, like the recent, "Burma Election Is Test of Progress," which is already wringing its hands over its NGO front being ejected from Myanmar ahead of elections. Freedom House director David Kramer who has more recently openly plotted to support the destabilization of Russia in the wake of Putin's uncontested reelection, admits that poll monitors are not in place to observe the elections - casting further doubts on corporate-media headlines declaring Suu Kyi a winner of a parliamentary seat prematurely.

The Freedom House piece clearly backs what it calls "the primary opposition party led by Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, the National League for Democracy (NLD)." It is clear that Suu Kyi's failure to secure a seat will be used as impetus to put further pressure on the Myanmar government and possibly justify Western-backed regime change efforts in the form of another staged "popular uprising" similar to the failed 2007 "Saffron Revolution."

To explain why US State Department fronts like Freedom House are so supportive of Suu Kyi, it helps to understand that her entire image and indeed her opposition movement is a creation of Wall Street and London with an incredible amount of resources systematically poured into both her political campaigns as well as a subversive network of NGOs across Myanmar dedicated to undermining the national government, foiling infrastructure projects including the recent halting of a dam project that would have provided significant benefits for Myanmar's tragically underdeveloped countryside, and of course armed separatist movements both inside and beyond Myanmar's borders. All of this aims not only at installing a pro-Wall Street-London regime in Myanmar, but ousting advances by China to co-develop the nation's natural resources - resources the West prefers instead to be exclusively pilfered by the Fortune 500.

Image: The 2006 Burma Campaign UK report, "
Failing the People of Burma?" (.pdf) reveals the entire "pro-democracy" movement, including Aung San Suu Kyi herself, is a product of US and British funding and the building of neo-imperial networks designed to overthrow and replace the government of Myanmar.
....

A 2006 36-page document out of the "Burma Campaign UK" explicitly details the enormous amount of money and resources both the US government and its corporate-funded foundations have poured into Suu Kyi's image and her "movement." It also details the complicity of then Thai Prime Minster and verified Wall Street-proxy Thaksin Shinwatra's government in aiding the West in their Myanmar agenda.

Specifically mentioned is both the US State Department's National Endowment for Democracy and George Soros' Open Society Institute, illustrating once again the reality that both "liberal" and "Neo-Conservative" interests serve a singular concerted agenda in instituting a global neo-liberal corporate-financier hegemonic empire.

Throughout the "Burma Campaign UK" report, NED is cited as behind the creation of the New Era Journal, the Irrawaddy, and the Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) radio, all posing, just as the recently exposed Thai-US propaganda front, Prachatai, as "independent" media sources despite the fact they are in reality fully-funded by the US government.

The role of US State Department-run Radio Free Asia (RFA) and Voice of America (VOA) is also discussed in detail, including the revelation that US foreign policy specifically supports and actively promotes Aung San Suu Kyi and "her" agenda.

As by-elections approached, the corporate-media increasingly lent exposure to building up Suu Kyi's "pro-democracy" image with public relation stunts engineered to lend her otherwise non-existent credibility. This includes the farcical awarding of the corporate-financier funded "Chatham House Prize" presented by British Foreign Secretary William Hague who most recently presided over the destruction and handing over to terrorists of the entire nation of Libya.

photo

Photo: Hague hands Suu Kyi the "Chatham House Prize." Nothing quite says "democracy promotion" like a prize from an organization consisting of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BP, Exxon, Chevron, BAE, Boeing, Lockheed, and many more. This is just the latest in a long line of self-aggrandizing stunts the global elite pull to lend themselves otherwise non-existent legitimacy.
....

To illustrate the contrived, corporate-financier serving nature of the "Chatham House Prize" it is important to remember that notorious corporate interests including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BP, Exxon, Chevron, BAE, Boeing, Lockheed, and many others, including corporate-media organizations, constitute Chatham House's "corporate membership." The Chatham House itself is a think-tank that represents not the democratic aspirations of the populations of the Western nations it decides policy for, but rather the collective interests of the corporations that fund and constitute its membership.

With Wall Street-proxy Thaksin Shinawatra running the neighboring Thai government through his own sister serving as his personal proxy, Thailand is once again poised to provide support for Western ambitions verses Myanmar. In fact, Thaksin's sister, Yingluck Shinawatra upon visiting Suu Kyi in Myanmar was hailed as "Suu Kyi's first-ever meeting with the leader of a foreign country."

Photo: Wall Street's grotesque puppet show: making a mockery out of the human dignity of those drawn in by the facade of hope and democratic reform Yingluck Shinawatra of Thailand and Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar both disingenuously sell their followers. (AFP/Pool, Soe Zeya Tun)
....

Yingluck Shinawatra and Thai Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul (Thaksin's cousin through marriage) pledged full support for the US agenda throughout Asia including a nuclear non-proliferation act opposed by China and the sovereignty-crushing Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) economic integration.

Yingluck has also pledged support for US designs toward Myanmar, ahead of Secretary Clinton's visit with Aung San Suu Kyi last December. Previously, during Yingluck's brother Thaksin's regime, Thailand, and in particular, the northern city of Chiang Mai, played a pivotal role hosting US corporate-funded "NGOs" working to foment sedition, unrest, and eventually regime change in neighboring Myanmar.

These developments implicate a US moving to line up Southeast Asia against Chinese interests and expansion throughout the region as covered in Neo-Conservative Robert Kagan's "What China Knows That We Don't: The Case for a New Strategy of Containment," and again more recently by Hillary Clinton in a Foreign Policy article, "America's Pacific Century."

While Western "imagineered" ideals of "democracy," "freedom," and "human rights" will be used to mask Aung San Suu Kyi's ascension into power, the underlying agenda is one of Wall Street-London hegemony across Asia, the premeditated encirclement and subsequent containment of China, and the full-scale regional exploitation of Asia and its resources by Western corporate-financier interests. As the supranational bloc "ASEAN" nears completion, this exploitation will unfold under a conveniently consolidated regional feeding trough Western interests are already lining up to bury their snouts in.

Repost: Earth Hour - A Despicable Hoax

Earth Hour: A Despicable Hoax
"Earth Hour" special by Tony Cartalucci,

Originally posted March 26, 2011 - Nothing embodies the corporate hijacked environmental movement more than the despicable hoax that is "Earth Hour." Once a year, we are bombarded worldwide by a feel-good advertising campaign on TV, radio, billboards, fliers, in the newspaper and in every other conceivable way for an event that involves turning off the lights for one hour per year, to "take a stand against climate change."

Image: What Al Gore doesn't tell you: CO2 has been 1000's of times higher during the Cretaceous period and sea levels have been so high North America featured an inland sea. Antarctica was covered in temperate forests and dinosaurs.
....

Not only has science failed to prove that anthropogenic climate change is happening - to the extent proponents like the White House's John Holdren have relabeled "Global Warming" to "Global Climate Change" to the now most ambiguous version, "Global Climate Disruption," but the evidence suggests that the "scientists" peddling this theory have defrauded the public again and again. Worth noting, is that John Holdren himself is a creature of Harvard's Belfer Center, which is named in fact, after corrupt oil tycoon Robert Belfer. Much of the policy coming out of the Belfer Center ends up in front of delegates attending the very fraudulent and ineffective climate change summits held, most recently in Copenhagen and Cancun.

Video: The Corbett Report breaks down "Climate Gate."

When we look at say, Earth Hour's corporate sponsors, or the WWF's corporate sponsors, or the myriad of banksters and oilmen that steer climate policy centers like Harvard's Belfer Center we should realize that not only has big oil and the rest of the corporations defiling the planet hijacked environmentalism along with multitudes of well-intentioned activists, but these corporate interests are using it to defile the planet and its population further, only now with a perceived moral justification.

Could we expect anything less from an organization so large, with so many corporate affiliations?

The proposed solutions of course, involve greater consolidations of power in the government's hands to solve these problems - the solutions being carbon taxes that get paid directly to private bankers, rules, regulations and laws that only megalithic corporations can afford to comply with thus shutting out competition, and a laundry list of other non-effectual solutions that only empower the very corporations that have caused real, verifiable environmental damage.

Image: Deutsche Bank's "Carbon Clock." The very idea that bankers, perhaps the most universally recognized mongers of greed and human misery, actually care about the environment is ridiculous. When you consider Deutsche is one of the "leading participants" in the carbon credit market, then it makes sense.
....

What about real environmental hazards? How about the unfettered nuclear industry, depleted uranium being dumped over the ever expanding theaters of conflict the West is engaged in, or the genetically modified plants and animals that are displacing and corrupting the natural species that inhabit this planet? Or how about the ineffective, logistical & petroleum intensive mega-agricultural industry, poisonous herbicides and pesticides dumped onto our food by companies like Monsanto, free-trade that sees tons of diesel fuel burned to bring plastic trinkets from Chinese factories to America's shores, and the list goes on ad infinitum.

Real solutions generally don't involve corporations or government, in fact, as a necessity must exclude them. The marriage between corporate interests and government regulations should be something all of us can agree on, regardless of where we sit on the political spectrum.

Real solutions involve a real education in science, technology, design, and manufacturing. This empowers people in all levels of society to accurately assess problems and apply local solutions. This, coupled with modern manufacturing technology enables more to be done on a local level, short-circuiting the petroleum intensive logistical chains WWF sponsors like Walmart couldn't live without.

Organic farming on a local level coupled with local farmers' markets eliminates entirely the need for Monsanto poison, fertilizers, and genetically modified franken-crops, along with the replacement of the petroleum intensive logistical networks that distribute big-agri's products.

In fact, when you think about it, almost all of these real solutions involve real community and local action. These are not solutions that involve policies, taxes, and regulations, but rather technology, education, constructive, pragmatic, technical solutions that not only would make our environment more livable, but make our local economies and communities more viable and self-sufficient. The catch is, and the reason why this isn't being done, you will notice that none of these activities require WWF sponsors like Walmart, Nike, IBM, Toyota, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, HSBC, Citi, IKEA, Nokia, etc.

Does it make sense then, to see why real problems and their solutions have become the target of hijackers like the corporate conglomeration that is the WWF? Does it make sense to see them offering "alternative" centralized, corporate dependent solutions that replace local activism?

Please investigate for yourself, WWF's corporate sponsors and see how many of them end up on this list, "Naming Names," which exposes the corporations and special interests that keep us at perpetual war and on the edge of financial ruin.

Do we honestly think that these corporations care about the responsible stewardship of the planet? Do they care about people? Do they care about the environment? Are they not at the center of the most horrific scandals, atrocities, and wars of our age? If you care about your environment, do yourself a favor, keep your lights on during the next "Earth Hour", and do some reading on how you can empower yourself, your community, and become independent from the petroleum hungry, world ravaging corporations that are promoting their version of "environmentalism" through hijacked organizations like the WWF. They have created in their own image a human-hating Malthusian religion of servile obedience to a world government that "promises" to fix the problems they themselves have created.

Let's be smarter than this, let's look past the slick public relations stunt that is "Earth Hour," and look around locally at real solutions. Think and act locally. You know what's wrong with your hometown and most likely you know how to fix it. Most importantly you and your neighbors can see it is in your best interest to do so, and it doesn't require charlatans like Al Gore to hold your hand, paying him carbon taxes while you do it.

For more on real solutions that not only promote freedom and liberty, but give us the tools to create cleaner and more efficient technological solutions locally please read on:

Conflict in Mali - Northern Africa

Separatist War looms in post-coup Mali

Nile Bowie
NileBowie.blogspot.com
March 31, 2012

KUALA LUMPUR – As the inexperienced protagonists of Mali’s military coup receive worldwide condemnation from the international community and neighboring members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), thousands have taken to the streets of the Malian capital of Bamako in support of the newly founded junta. Citizens carried placards and banners reading "Down with the international community” and “Down with Sarkozy," while chanting slogans in praise of junta leader, Captain Amadou Sanogo. [1] Although Sanogo has visited the US several times after being handpicked by the Pentagon to participate in an International Military Education and Training program sponsored by the US State Department [2], representatives of the United States have called on coup leaders in Mali on to step down and allow for elections to take place. [3]

US State Department spokesman Mark Toner has threatened the penurious West African state with a staunch diplomatic and financial embargo if power is not returned to ousted Malian President Amadou Toumani Toure within seventy-two hours. [4] While half the population lives on less than $1.25 per day [5], the imposition of economic sanctions to the landlocked import-reliant nation will inevitably lead to greater social instability and civil unrest. As the prospects of embargo work to further nurture war-like conditions amid longstanding poverty, the ECOWAS bloc has put its troops on standby near Mali’s borders, ready to intervene should the situation deteriorate. [6] During the 2010 - 2011 crisis in Côte d'Ivoire, forces loyal to the French-backed Alassane Ouattara undertook a widespread campaign of atrocities against civilians [7], a further reminder of the danger posed by the international community’s rush to military intervention in crisis stricken regions of Africa.

As the United States and others espouse the importance of returning to constitutional order while Malians offer their support to the junta, the strength of Mali’s touted democratic institutions appear highly questionably. The primary justification behind the coup came from the civilian government’s inadequate response to an ongoing campaign of Tuareg separatism in northern Mali, although the recent disarray in Bamako has prompted the steady advance of armed Tuareg militias southward. Under the banner of the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA), armed militias have reportedly seized the northeastern region of Kidal, prompting the poorly equipped Malian army to abandon its strategic northward positions. [8] The Tuareg are a traditionally nomadic and pastoralist ethnic minority group of some 1.5 million people who seek to secede from the Malian republic and form an independent nation called Azawad; the group has traditionally existed in a territory scattered across the Sahel and Sahara countries largely operated by al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

Although the Tuareg have been credited with the recent destabilization in Northern Mali, a strong possibility exists that AQIM has more accurately been behind insurgent activity in the region. [9] The MNLA has stated that the objective of its independence campaign is develop a stronghold from which to safeguard against violent AQIM activity, while Bamako has asserted that the MNLA seek to found a ridged Islamist state in partnership with AQIM. [10] Subsequent to the fall of Gaddafi in NATO’s Libyan war-theater, armed Malian and Nigerien ethnic-Tuareg fighters were seen descending into the Sahara in army issue Toyota Hi-Lux technical trucks used by al-Qaeda affiliated Libyan rebels [11]. While it may be difficult to distinguish the true protagonists of violence in northern Mali, the resurgence of their activity has been greatly enhanced by their access to mortars, machine guns, anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons originally belonging to the radical Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). [12]

The presence of a second Tuareg-dominated separatist group, Ancar Dine further complicates the situation; the movement seeks to impose sharia law throughout northern Mali and is led by Iyad Ag Ghaly, a prominent Salafi figure thought to have links with a branch of Ayman al-Zawahiri’s AQIM, led by his cousin Hamada Ag Hama. [13] As separatists now control a third of Mali, a food crisis is approaching over Sahel-Saharan Africa as nearly eighty thousand refugees seek amnesty in neighboring Algeria, Niger, Mauritania and Burkina Faso. [14] As the militant Ancar Dine appear to be claiming to control over regions previously attributed to the MNLA [15], their advance may have wider implications, capable of drastically fomenting regional instability.

An influx of refugees will put further strain on Algeria and Niger, with a heightened prospect for widespread uprisings seen during the Arab Spring unfolding in the Sahel region. Algeria may be further destabilized if the security situation continues to deteriorate in Mali, as France may feel compelled to intervene in the affairs of its former colonial holdings, as seen tragically in Côte d'Ivoire. The crisis in Mali bears a striking parallel to events in Nigeria, a nation struggling with the Islamic insurgent activities of separatist Boko Haram to its north. Given the political instability in Abuja, a coup orchestrated by low-ranking officers against Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan based on the Malian model would not be unthinkable. As the World Bank and African Development Bank suspend all aid to Mali, some form of military intervention is conceivable if the UNSC’s calls for the “immediate restoration of constitutional rule and the democratically elected government" are not heeded [16].

As Mali's neighbors threaten to use sanctions and military force to depose the current Committee for the Re-establishment of Democracy and the Restoration of the State (CNRDR) led by Captain Amadou Sanogo [17], the junta has unveiled a new constitution guaranteeing freedom of speech, thought and movement [18]. Sanogo vowed not cling to power and to set up democratic elections when the Tuareg insurgency can be contained; those who took part in the coup would be barred from participation in the elections [19]. The influx of arms from NATO’s regime change programme in Libya has created dire prospects for a heavily armed civil war in Mali; it remains to be seen how the NATO bloc will react if the CNRDR refuses calls to step down and engages in a drawn-out conflict with Islamist separatists. As the US military counters the Lord’s Resistance Army by expanding its military presence through AFRICOM (United States Africa Command) in the Democratic People’s Republic of the Congo, the worsening situation in both Mali and Nigeria provide further justification for foreign intervention and war profiteering.

How Wall Street Manipulates & Manufactures Atrocities

Case Study: Thai Police Politically Exploit Death of Italian Journalist
by Tony Cartalucci

March 31, 2012
- An attempted color revolution backed by Wall Street unfolded in Bangkok, Thailand in 2010, leaving 91 dead. Since then, Wall Street as well as its proxies inside of Thailand have attempted to blame all 91 deaths on the Thai military despite overwhelming evidence proving armed militants were involved in the protests - this foreshadowed the techniques now being used on a larger scale in Syria.

High profile deaths including those of foreign journalists caught in the crossfire have become political points of leverage for Wall Street's media machine (a technique also reused in Syria) and their Thai proxy, billionaire Thaksin Shinawatra. Unfortunately the same craven political stunt employed at the expense of fallen Reuters journalist Hiro Muramoto who was killed during the April 10, 2010 night ambush of Thai troops, is now being used regarding the death of an Italian journalist by the Thai police currently headed by Thaksin Shinawatra's own brother-in-law.

Police General Priewpan Damapong was appointed as head of Thailand's police shortly after Thaksin's own sister took office last July, with much support from Wall Street & London and demonstrating a breathtaking display of third-world nepotism. Damapong, it should be noted, also just recently, and very eagerly, backed claims by both the US and Israel regarding the false flag Bangkok bombing pinned on Iran - illustrating just how interconnected these geopolitical ploys are regardless of geographic distance.

Claims regarding "new evidence" that Italian journalist Fabio Polenghi was killed by a high-velocity bullet during 2010's unrest, and not an M-79 grenade as previously thought, and therefore "clearly" implicating government troops, echos of similar claims by Thaksin's associates in regards to Muramoto's death and conveniently ignores the fact that both government troops and Thaksin's militants employed not only assault rifles firing high velocity bullets, but both fielded weapons that fired the exact same 5.56mm rounds claimed by Thaksin and his opposition to only have been used by government troops.

The evidence compiled in "Mainstream Propagandists: A Tale of Depravity," featuring photographs, video, witness testimony as well as a Human Rights Watch report, confirms without a doubt that Thaksin's hired mercenaries not only used the very same weapons as Thai troops, including M-16's, but had in their possession scores of weapons confiscated from Thai troops during the first violent confrontation on April 10, 2010. It also provides geopolitical analysts with perhaps the most transparent and well documented use of covert violence to facilitate a Western-backed color revolution to date.

Video: Video footage from April 10, 2010, aired on AlJazeera, clearly shows Thaksin's militants employing tactically both AK-47s and M16 assault rifles. For those unfamiliar with these two weapons, and who find it difficult to identify the weapon being carried by the Thaksin militant at (00:35), the position of the rifle's front sight post gives it away. The AK-47's front sight post is located all the way at the end of the barrel and is integrated with the compensator, while the M16A2's sight post is located right at the end of the hand guards leaving a considerable amount of the barrel between it and the compensator .

Descent into Chaos
Image: The cover of Human Rights Watch's "Descent into Chaos (.pdf)" report, which, while published long after HRW itself did as much as possible to support and defend Wall Street's proxy Thaksin Shinawatra and cover for his armed mercenaries, finally confirms that not only did protesters have amongst them armed militants, but that they in fact employed identical weapons as Thai troops including M-16's firing 5.56mm rounds.

Page 62 states:
"As the army attempted to move on the camp, they were confronted by well-armed men who fired M16 and AK-47 assault rifles at them, particularly at the Khok Wua intersection on Rajdamnoen Road. They also fired grenades from M79s and threw M67 hand grenades at the soldiers. News footage and videos taken by protesters and tourists show several soldiers lying unconscious and bleeding on the ground, as well as armed men operating with a high degree of coordination and military skills."
Clearly, if both sides were employing M16's - deaths and injuries resulting from 5.56mm high velocity rounds could have been caused by either the Thai military or Thaksin's mercenaries - exposing the latest "revelations" by Thai police as nothing more than a shameless political stunt. It most likely will never be known from which rifle fired the fatal round, let alone who was holding that rifle at the time.
....

Image: Not only did Thaksin's militants bring their own M16s to the firefight, they also at one point during the night of April 10, 2010, verifiably seized a large amount of weapons from Thai soldiers who fled in disarray after an ambush organized by elements within Thaksin's movement. While it is unproven whether these weapons were then used by militants during their daily and nightly clashes with Thai troops, room is left for considerable doubt even if Thailand's police were able to trace bullets to rifles in government armories.
....

While this evidence was originally compiled and posted in regards to Reuters journalist Hiro Muramoto's case, it can just as easily apply to all victims of the April and May 2010 violence that unfolded in Bangkok, including that of Fabio Polenghi to counter dubious, clearly politically motivated claims regarding high-profile deaths during Thaksin's 2010 armed insurrection.

Atrocities Made-to-Order: Tools of the Trade

Other examples show that while the West is perfectly content with manipulating and spinning events as they unfold, it is also willing to manufacture real atrocities for the sake of pinning them on a targeted government. This includes the premeditated murder of a pro-Thaksin protester by Thaksin's own mercenaries - recorded on tape and extensively photographed, then shamelessly and relentlessly used as propaganda to this very day. The incident took place on April 10, 2010, the same night Reuters journalist Hiro Muramoto was killed, and gives us immense insight into how Western-backed color revolutions will purposefully kill both protesters and government troops to escalate tensions and violence while undermining the legitimacy of a targeted government.

In a YouTube video (WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC) recorded by Thaksin propagandists, protesters can be seen facing off against troops to the left of the screen with other protesters seeking cover as fire is exchanged between militants and troops. In the center of the frame, a very conspicuous man is seen carrying a tall red flag with his attention fixated on men directing him into position. He moves in steps, almost as if posing for a picture with his attention focused on the men directing him. Behind him, with his hat turned backwards, appears to be a spotter shadowing the flagman's moves and flashing a series of hand signals to the men on the left directing the flagman.

Images: Frames taken from the video with annotations describe the events that unfolded shortly before and directly after Thaksin mercenaries intentionally killed one of their own protesters. The final image eventually made it onto the cover of Thaksin propaganda magazine, "Voice of Taksin." (click images to enlarge)
....

Men in the upper left of the screen can be seen waving the flagman into position as they tell other protesters to "get down" before a shot is fired taking off the top of the man's skull. As protesters panic and run off camera, the spotter moving with the flagman calmly stands above the dead man and waves in a photographer who takes the infamous pictures that would soon be featured on the cover of Thaksin's propaganda publication, the "Voice of Taksin." It must be remembered that the video camera was fixated on the flagman the entire time to specifically capture the entire, premeditated murder.

Image: A censored version of the very explicit "special" cover of Thaksin propaganda magazine, "Voice of Taksin," featuring a man killed not even a minute ago. The flag he was conspicuously waving just moments before lays across his chest and was most likely handed to him to aid mercenary snipers in targeting him. The original cover with translations can be found here. (WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC.) The editor of "Voice of Taksin" has since been arrested and imprisoned for his role in the 2010 violence - however Western "human rights" fronts including US-funded Prachatai maintain that he is a "political prisoner" and a "human rights activist." Note: on the bottom of the magazine cover a "free" CD is offered featuring video of the gruesome staged murder of this unfortunate young man.
....

This horrific, cold-blooded demonstration of the callous, murderous nature of these so-called "pro-democracy" movements sowing chaos from Tunisia to Thailand illustrates the full depths of depravity from which the global elite and their proxies operate. Behind the thin veneer of revolutionary "singing tomorrows" is a heartless, craven killing machine as eager to dispose of its most adamant supporters as it is inclined to eliminate its opponents. What was just described has played out not only repeatedly in Thailand, but all across North Africa and the Middle East as well as during previous attempts by the West to oust Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

Conclusion

This not only concerns the ongoing Western-backed political destabilization of Thailand and the implications it has for greater Asia, but serves as a useful example, exposed in full detail, as to how Wall Street and London runs color revolutions, how covert violence plays an integral part in effecting both the undermining and toppling of national institutions, and how the corporate-media preys on both ignorance and emotions to manipulate such violence. The lessons learned on the streets of Bangkok in 2010 allow us to see current events unfolding in hotspots like Syria with a new, more informed perspective and a deeper understanding of how "fourth generation" warfare is waged.
